Rest In Peace, Owen Hart.

I know I'm almost a week late, but I still wanted to say something.

It has now been over 10 years since Owen died during the Over The Edge PPV on May 23rd, 1999. I can't believe it's really been that long. I still remember that tragic night in wrestling.

My condolences still go out to his loved ones & fans to this very day.

Rest in Peace, Owen. We still love & miss you. <3

-- The Undertaker has undergone hip surgery, according to ProWrestling.net. He had been suffering from hip and back pain for several months and the hope is that the surgery will eliminate the pain in both areas.

Ouch. I didn't know he had hip problems; I can't remember if I've heard anything about his back. I mainly heard it was his knees. Regardless, I wish him a healthy & speedy recovery. I hope the pain is gone & that he'll be back soon.

Ken Kennedy Injured Again.

Ken Kennedy, who had been out of action for several months with a shoulder injury, made his in-ring return last night on Raw in the "Lakers vs. Nuggets" 10-man tag match. PWInsider.com reports that Kennedy injured his wrist during the match while taking an RKO from Randy Orton. There's no word yet on whether he'll miss any time, but this is another tough break for the fragile superstar.

Wrestlemania 25 Results & Thoughts.

I apologize for the lack of posts around here.

Here are my Wrestlemania results & thoughts. It's okay if you don't agree, but please respect my opinion.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Randy Orton.
Winner: Triple H.
My thoughts: I'm not too fond with the results, as I was 100% behind Randy Orton. But I expected Triple H to win.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show (Triple Threat Match).
Winner & New World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena.
My thoughts: I was actually rooting for The Big Show lol. I love Cena to death, but I was fine with him losing. Especially since I'm hoping he won't be drafted off of Raw (yes, I think there's a bigger chance of him being drafted if he still has the title & Triple H is drafted to Raw).

Intercontinental Champion JBL vs. Rey Mysterio.
Winner & New Intercontinental Champion: Rey Mysterio.
My thoughts: I'm not a JBL fan at all, but I thought he would've had more of a sendoff, or a speech, or something.

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy (Extreme Rules Match).
Winner: Matt Hardy.
My thoughts: I don't care who won, I'm just glad they're both okay. We all know how crazy those 2 can get lol.

WWE Tag Team Champions vs. World Tag Team Champions (Unified Tag Team Championship Lumberjack Match).
Winners: Carlito & Primo.
My thoughts: Now I like Kid Rock, but I didn't know until later that they were booting this match from the PPV. So I think they should've saved Kid Rock's performance for another time & left this match on the card.

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker.
Winner: The Undertaker to maintain his Wrestlemania Undefeated Streak.
My thoughts: Now, HBK is my all-time favorite, but I didn't expect him to win this, & I'm fine with this. But this was definitely the match of the night in my opinion, just as I expected. :-)

Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Winner: CM Punk.
My thoughts: I like CM Punk, but I think they should've given it to someone who hasn't won it before. I was mainly rooting for Christian, Shelton, or MVP actually.

25-Diva Battle Royal.
Winner: Santina Marrella (Marella?).
My thoughts: Santino...I mean -Santina- is a trip lol.

Chris Jericho vs. WWE Legends.
Winner: Chris Jericho.
My thoughts: I figured they'd have Rourke get involved, I don't care tho. It was cool to see the Legends wrestle again tho.

It wasn't the worst PPV, but it wasn't the best Wrestlemania in my opinion.

No Way Out Results [2.15.09.] & Thoughts.

I'm sorry this is so late. These are my thoughts from the WWE No Way Out PPV. I just copied & pasted them from another place I had them written out. And while you may not agree with me, please remember that this is just my opinion.

Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship: Edge vs. The Undertaker vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov.
Winner: Triple H.
My thoughts: I would have rather seen Jeff Hardy, The Undertaker, or Edge win.

Elimination Chamber for the World Championship: John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Mike Knox vs. Kofi Kingston.
Winner: Edge when he took jumped Kofi & took his spot in the Elimination Chamber.
My thoughts: I wanted John Cena to win.

ECW Champion Jack Swagger vs. Fit Finlay.
Winner: Jack Swagger.
My Thoughts. I didn't care who won, to be honest. But I figured Swagger would keep it.

Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred match.
Winner: Randy Orton.
My Thoughts: Again, I didn't care who won. I like them both. I'm just glad there were no injuries.

JBL vs. Shawn Michaels.
Winner: Shawn Michaels.
My thoughts: I wanted Shawn to win, & I'm very happy he did.

I was hoping to have seen Cena/Orton & Trips/Edge for WM25, but judging by those results, & unless anything changes, it looks like it'll be Trips/Orton & Cena/Edge. I guess we'll see what happens between now & PPV.

Christian Cage [Jason Reso] Makes His Return To World Wrestling Entertainment.

Former TNA wrestler Christian has officially returned to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Christian made his debut during tonight's live edition of ECW by interrupting a promo by ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Cage insulted Swagger by making fun of his noticeable lisp. Christian then issued a challenge saying he wants to face the winner of the ECW Championship match between Jack Swagger and Finlay at this Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view.

Swagger declined Christian's request and said he couldn't cut it in the company, which is why he left years ago. Swagger said he is no threat to him, and that he won the ECW Championship in four months. Christian then punched Swagger and left the ring.

Following the commercial break, Swagger went up to ECW General Manager Theodore Long to complain about Christian. Long said he signed Christian to the ECW brand and told Swagger that he would be wrestling the returning star later in the night.

WWE 2009 Royal Rumble Thoughts.

The following views & opinions are clearly mine. I am only speaking for myself. You don't have to agree with me, but I do ask that you respect my opinion. Thank you.

ECW Champion Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy.
- I figured Matt wasn't winning so yeah lol. Good match though.

Women's Champion Beth Phoenix vs. Melina.
- Good for Melina. :) It was a good match.

World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. JBL.
- For a second there, I thought JBL had it. Thank God he didn't. I was going nuts. "PIN HIM, JOHN! PIN HIM!" And what the hell is Shawn doing?! Is he working for JBL or not? OMG that boy drives me nuts lmfao!

WWE Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Edge.
- I knew going into this that Jeff was losing. I heard when he won it he wasn't keeping it long. So I'm not as bothered as you would think. Plus I was at his fir SD as champ, & he can lose the title, but I'll ALWAYS have that memory. I'm not too mad at Matt 'cause I figured it out when he ran in. What I'm mad about is the lack of certain man by the name of Christian! Stupid rumors!

30-Man Royal Rumble Match.
- Very good Rumble! Not because of the results, but it was very entertaining for me. It's favorite type of match ever [which is why this is my fav. PPV lol]. Tho dammit, I like, turned my head & I missed Santino haha. And RVD!! OMG, I heard that he was there & I was starting to think he wasn't gonna be in it & I was getting mad lol. His music hit & I was clapping like a little kid lol. I loved JTG & Morrison hanging on the ropes kicking each other, Rey using Miz & Morrison to get back into the ring, & just a lot of things that happened. I love the Rumble. We still countdown when the clock is on the screen in my house lmfao.

I honestly thought Trips had it, & I was so mad. I actually like Trips. I know it seems like I don't, but I just get frustrated with him sometimes. I said to my household, all I could think was "how many times do I have to watch him screw over Randy? He's not even on the same show anymore & he still screws him over". I'm sorry, but all 3 of Randy's title reigns were ended by Trips, & the last one I saw in person. Not to mention any of the re-matches, he lost those, too. Enough was enough for me. [I don't count when RKO got injured, that wasn't HHH's fault.]

But YEEEEEESSSSS. My boy won. I don't care what anyone says, in my eyes & in my opinion, he DESERVES it. And I hope so bad that he doesn't lose his title shot due to punting Vince, 'cause I want to see Cena vs. Orton, one-on-one, at WM25. Not only do I want Orton to win, but I want both of my boys to headline it together this year. :D

If I may flip out for a second....
RKO! RKO! RKO! :D

Aside from Jeff losing, Christian not being there, & Shawn pretty much still helping JBL....this was a good PPV. The matches were great & very entertaining for me. :)

WWE 2009 Royal Rumble Pre-Thoughts & Such.

Ah, it's that time again. The Royal Rumble. Here are my thoughts & such.

30-Man Royal Rumble Match.
- Alrighty. Do I even need to tell you all who I want to win? Probably not, but I will anyways - Randy Orton. All the way. 100%. To the point where I don't even have another huge pick.

Now as for picks on the other brands....
SD - Providing he's participating in it, I'm going to say MVP, since he had that losing streak for the last few months [up until very recently, I believe].
ECW - I'm gonna say Finlay.

But my #1 pick is Orton, end of story lol.

ECW Champion Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy.
- I want Matt to take back the ECW title, but I actually see Jack keeping it. He just got it & Matt's had it for awhile.

World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. JBL.
- John Cena. I'm sorry, but i do not want to see JBL as the World Heavyweight Champion.
And if Shawn [my all-time favorite] could finally turn on JBL & kick him in the face, that'd be great. :)

Women's Champion Beth Phoenix vs. Melina.
- I don't totally care who wins, but I can see this going both ways, actually.

WWE Champion Jeff Hardy vs. Edge.
- I want Jeff to win, but I think Edge is taking the title.

This is my favorite PPV out of all of them, so I really hope it delivers lol.

Rock Band AC/DC To Perform At WrestleMania XXV.

During a recent appearance at the 36th Annual Global Media and Communications Conference, Linda McMahon announced that rock and roll icons AC/DC will be performing the theme to Wrestlemania XXV at the show in Houston, Texas.

There's no word yet on what song will be used as the theme.

Vince McMahon is said to be a huge fan of AC/DC, getting his first exposure to the band back in 2000 when they were performing on Saturday Night Live the night Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson hosted the show for the first time.

Many will remember back in November, we reported that McMahon and John Cena were seen "rocking out" at the AC/DC concert at Madison Square Garden.

Lanny Kean Jr. Found Dead.

Lanny Kean, Jr better know as Cousin Junior in the WWE, appearing then with Hillbilly Jim, was found dead this morning in Frankfort, KY. Kean was also known as Moondog Cujo and Bloody Ox Brody.

Cause of death was apparently a heart attack.

Sting Battling Knee Problems.

Sting has been having a lot of problems with his knees as of late and is not able to move the way he wants to. He tore an ACL in 1990 and had the knee surgically repaired and it's that knee that is giving him problems. This is one of the reasons he's been booked a lot lately just to stand around, in a way. This could be Sting's final year of wrestling due to injuries as he is almost 50 years old, if not 50. Sources say Sting was having problems in the match with Rhino last night at Genesis and they booked it so he could have an easy match. Despite the troubles, he will be working tonight's tapings.

Christy Hemme Injured.

As reported over the weekend, Christy Hemme has two herniated discs in her neck, but is looking to avoid surgery and go for a different procedure. However, the announcers said she would be undergoing surgery during last night's pay-per-view.

Kevin Nash Hospitalized; Update.

To update Kevin Nash's health status, he had his elbow lanced yesterday due to the bad staph infection he's suffered over the weekend. He is on heavy antibiotics and doctors are still awaiting test results. While TNA said the infection was suffered while overseas, PWInsider.com reports that sources have indicated the infection may have been caused by some recent tattoo he had done. There is still a lot of concern for Nash's health.

Maryse Updates Fans On Her Knee Injury.

"Last week while performing in the ring in Raleigh, North Carolina i hit a bad move an dislocated my right knee cap. While backstage it took approximatly 35 to 40 minutes to replace it, my knee cap was completly out. No surgery will be needed. I would like to thank Dc. Martha Dodson and our special trainer Larry Heck to save my leg, they really did. Thank you sooo much!!! I want to let all my fans know that im doing great and doing rehabilitation every day in Los Angeles where i live. Im recovering really fast. Thanks for all the support !!!"

Steve Richards Recently Hospitalized.

Stevie Richards was recently admitted to a hospital to get a nagging lung infection drained. Richards is already out of the hospital and feeling better than he has in some time. The former WWE star is currently working as an instructor at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and maintains his own technology website at www.t4show.com.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I also read elsewhere [I can't totally remember where] that he had a collasped lung during a lung biopsy. That kind of hit me close to home, as a loved one of mine just recently had a lung biopsy done.

I wish Stevie Richards a speedy & healthy recovery, I hope all turns out well with this, & I'm glad he's alright! And I'm also glad to hear he's feeling better. :)

Chyna Releases Statement Regarding Her Hospitalization For Drugs & Alcohol

Jeff Bauer of Mad Dad Promotions has released the following press release regarding Chyna's weekend hospitalization:

As reported early Saturday morning Chyna was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, Ca.

Upon finishing the video shoot for Lovechild's new single, Chyna and a couple of friends including myself, Jeff Bauer AD on the Lovechild shoot, had a few drinks to celebrate her birthday and the end of a great shoot.

Unfortunately, newly prescribed medication she is taking had a very adverse effect combined with the alcohol and Chyna blacked out and fell into her mirrored closet doors. She received minor cuts on her arms and legs. Admittedly, when she fell it was scary and things looked worse than it was to us.

She spent half the day Saturday at St. Joseph's emergency and was released by the doctors without being admitted to the hospital.

Chyna is doing fine if not a little embarrassed about forgetting she was on this new medication. The family at Hybrid Culture Entertainment is with her.

Chyna is a delight on the set and we at Hybrid Culture welcome her anytime she is willing to be involved in one of our productions.

As for her wanting her hamburger and fries, TMZ contacted her on her cell phone while she was waiting for her friends to get back from MOE'S with her avocado, mushroom, bacon and cheese burger (swiss since someone out there is wondering). None of us had eaten since dinner the night before and that was the only thing on anyone's mind.

Now that some of the nominees have been announced, I can give more thoughts on the WWE Slammys.

I'm not sure who I think will win any of these, because it's a tough pick. But here are my votes for the nominees announced.

Superstar of the Year Award Nominees:
- Edge.
- Batista.
- Jeff Hardy.
- Chris Jericho.
- Triple H.
- John Cena.

I'm not sure who I'd vote for, maybe John Cena or Jeff Hardy. It's honestly a tough pick for me though, out of all of them. It's shame HBK & RKO weren't nominated, but ah well.

Match of the Year Nominees:
- 2008 Royal Rumble Match
- Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair (Career Threatening Match, WrestleMania 24)
- Money in the Bank Ladder Match (WrestleMania 24)
- Undertaker vs. Edge (Hell in a Cell Match at SummerSlam)

My vote: it's a tie between HBK vs. Flair & MITB [WM24]. I really enjoyed both matches, so it's hard for me to choose.

2008 WWE Slammy Awards Thoughts & Predictions.

So, I just wanted to post my thoughts & predictions for the Slammy's. Predictions go for winners or just nominees [or both]. This is just my opinion, not a fact.

- Superstar of the Year.
** My vote: Randy Orton, even tho his push started in the summer of 2007. Or Jeff Hardy.
** Prediction: I'm not sure. I started to answer this, but had a long list lol. Maybe for nominees it'd be Orton, Jeff Hardy, Edge, Cena, Michaels, or Jericho - - long list lol. I'm not sure how many they usually have for nominees.

- Match of the Year.
** I'm not quite sure yet, because I need to be reminded of some of these matches. That's horrible, I know lol. There's just been so many lol.

- OMG Moment of the Year.
** My vote: Jeff doing the Swanton to RKO off of the Titon Tron or whatever he climed on. Even tho it scared the hell out of me.
** Prediction [nominees]: Jeff / RKO Swanton; The stage falling on Vince; John Cena's Royal Rumble Return; Shawn's Retirement w/ Y2J punching Rebecca.

- Diva of the Year.
** My vote: I really don't know. :-/
** Nominee Predictions: Beth, Mickie, Candice, Victoria, Michelle McCool, & I'm not sure, 'cause I don't keep up with many of them outside of Raw.

** I'm not sure. What would they be looking for with this category?

** I don't know who I vote for, but I can kind of see CM Punk taking this one. I see other nominees being Cody, Ted, Evan, & I'm thinking of someone else, but I can't quite put my finger on who.

** I vote King or JR. I don't have a prediction.

** I don't know.

- Best Impersonation.
** I only know of Charlie's, Miz & Morrison making fun of people, & didn't Cryme Tyme do it to Miz & Morrison? Anyways, I vote for Charlie Haas.

I'm Going To WWE Smackdown & ECW!

I forgot to mention, I'll be going to WWE Smackdown & ECW on Tuesday, December 16th, at the 1st Mariner Arena [in Baltimore, MD]. My Mother [who is a huge WWE fan] & I will be enjoying the shows from the 4th row! This is the closest we've ever been to the ring. We had 3rd row seats for a Raw house show this past August, but we couldn't make it due to a horrible accident. :( But we're moving on to this show, which should be a lot of fun! Our section is by the ramp, but on the other end rather than at the railing. It's all good tho. We plan to go & have a blast! :D

Sorry for being late with these. It's been a crazy week, plus Thanksgiving lol. I'm just taking these off of a forum I post on.

Undertaker vs. Big Show (Casket Match).
Winner: Undertaker.
- I enjoyed this match. I love Big Show refusing to close the casket "I don't wanna touch the damn thing!" lmfao. I wanted 'Taker to win, but I could never hate Big Show - he's a big teddy bear whether he's a heel or not lmfao.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Vladimir Kozlov.
Winner & New WWE Champion: Edge [are you confused yet lol? Don't be, Vickie added Edge into the match lol].
- I was so happy to see Jeff. I don't care who won, it wasn't Vladimir so I'm fine. Oh, Edge, that beard has got to go. I wish Jeff won the title tho, but oh well. I'm not too thrilled that Edge & Vickie are back together. I'd rather Edge stay solo.

Team Batista vs. Team Orton (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match).
Winners: Team Orton.
- I'm sorry if anyone was angry by the ending, but I think what Orton did was pure genius lol. I bet he holds it over Cody's head tho. I kind of wanted to see Cody get pinned tho, just to see what Randy would've done haha.

Team HBK vs. Team JBL (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match).
Winners: Team HBK.
- I was happy Shawn won. I'm glad John Morrison got some Sweet Chin Music, maybe next time JBL would get it. I love the way JBL got eliminated; the look on his face lol.

Team SmackDown vs. Team Raw (Divas Survivor Series Elimination Match).
Winners: Team Raw.
- I'm glad Team Raw won.

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. John Cena.
Winner & New World Heavyweight Champion: John Cena.
- Okay, so my prediction was completely wrong lmfao. But I'm happy. :) I especially hope John & Randy feud over it. :D Tho when he won, I just sat there for a minute, while his music was playing, & then I finally go "Oh wait, he won?!" lol. Slow moment.

I really am sorry if anyone didn't enjoy the PPV. It sucks when people pay money & didn't enjoy what they paid for. :-/

Otherwise, I enjoyed the PPV. Aside from Jeff not being in the match, most of my favorites won. It was an enjoyable Survivor Series for me, & kudos to all those who worked their butts off to make it that way! :)

WWE Survivor Series Pre-Thoughts.

We should be getting this. We were planning that since August when we thought Randy would be making his return tonight lol.

Undertaker vs. Big Show (Casket Match).
- I want Undertaker to win. I don't have a prediction.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. Vladimir Kozlov.
- Did this become a Triple Threat Match with Jeff? I know it was possible. If so, I want Jeff to win. If not, I want Trips to win.

Team Batista vs. Team Orton (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match).
- I like most of the guys on Team Batista better than Team Orton [with the exception of Orton himself], but I want Randy to win. So I don't know lol.

Team HBK vs. Team JBL (Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match).
- Aaah my all-time favorite taking on my least favorite. As if it's a shock, I want Team HBK to win, & I wanna see HBK wipe the floor with JBL lol. AND I want JBL to get some Sweet Chin Music. And Morrison, too, since the bitch hit Shawn with it on Monday lol. Shawn all the way, baby! :)

Team SmackDown vs. Team Raw (Divas Survivor Series Elimination Match).
- I want Team Raw to win.

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. John Cena.
- In the long run, I don't care who wins. I'm happy to see John back. However, MY PREDICTION is a DQ, count-out, ect. I don't see them taking the belt off Jericho yet, nor do I see Cena losing cleanly on his first match back in his hometown [tho anything is possible]. I can kind of see Orton or Batista running it, what with both of them wanting title shots. Maybe Orton running in & Batista running after him. I could be completely wrong on this.

I'm just happy to see John back & Randy's first in-ring PPV return.

If you do NOT want the results for WWE Cyber Sunday just yet, then I suggest skipping over this entire post altogether.

Cyber Sunday Preview Match (WWE Universe chooses United States Champion Shelton Benjamin's opponent).
- Vote: R-Truth.
- Results: Shelton Benjamin defeated R-Truth to retain the U.S. Championship Match.
I actually didn't see this match yet. I'll have to go back & watch it at some point. It was probably a good match though.

Kane vs. Rey Mysterio (WWE Universe chooses type of match).
- Vote: No Holds Barred Match.
- Results: Rey Mysterio Jr. defeated Kane.
I missed most of this match, but what did see I enjoyed.

ECW Championship Match (WWE Universe chooses Matt Hardy's opponent).
- Vote: Evan Bourne to face Matt Hardy.
- Results: Matt Hardy to retain the ECW Championship.
I enjoyed the match & the results. And it was cool to see them being good sports to each other after the match. :)

Pick the Tag Team Match.

- Results: The Miz & John Morrison defeated Cryme Tyme.
I was happy to see that match get voted in, & I was hoping Cryme Tyme would win. But it was still a good match.

- Results: Santino defeated Honky Tonk man by DQ to retain the IC Championship when Beth Phoenix interfered.
I enjoyed the entire match; the promo, Roddy & Golddust making appearances, all of it.

WWE Diva Halloween Costume Contest.
- Results: Mickie James was voted the contest winner.
I like Mickie, but I love how Victoria was dressed as a banana and did the "It's Peanut-Butter Jelly Time" song & dance lmfao!

- Vote: Last Man Standing Match.
- Results: The Undertaker defeated The Big Show.
I was happy with the results. :)

WWE Championship (WWE Universe chooses challenger).
- Vote: Jeff Hardy to face Triple H.

I was happy to see Jeff Hardy voted in as the challenger. But I was hoping he would win the belt. I didn't expect it though.

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Batista (WWE Universe chooses referee).
- Vote: Stone Cold Steve Austin was chose as the Special Guest Referee.
- Results: Batista defeated Chris Jericho to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
I liked the match, mainly because it was exciting for me. All of the run-ins, & then everyone just keeping you on the edge of your seat.

Random Thoughts:

We ended up getting the PPV. As long as we're still getting SS, that's all I'm worried about. I really wanna see that PPV. :)

I thought it was a decent PPV. I wasn't sure how I'd like it. I didn't think we were getting it, so I didn't get all hyped up or anything lmfao. I'm happy with most of the results, aside from Cryme Tyme & Jeff losing. :-/

They played the advertisement for Cena's return! Now I HAVE to see Survivor Series! :D

Okay, here is my "mark out" moment......
DID YOU SEE ORTON TAKE THAT BUMP?! He got the Stunner & rolled across the ring like...3 times. I'm pretty sure that was planned of course, so that collarbone has got to be healed! YES! YES! YEEEEES!! His in-ring return will be here before we know it!! :D People might beg to differ, & that's fine, but in MY opinion, I don't see him selling that Stunner in that way if his collarbone was still broken.

It's cool to see Batista win, & Stone Cold & as always, Shawn. But I'm very bent on Orton bumping tonight, because now I know he'll probably [hopefully] be back next month like rumored & advertised. I have been waiting for this moment for almost 6 months. Woo!! :D

Not a bad PPV tho. Atleast to me it wasn't. I hope you all enjoyed it! :)

We were gonna get the PPV, but we decided to just save our money for Survivor Series [which is the one I really want to see anyways]. We're not voting in this either, since it's not free anymore.

- Voting: I hope it'll be Jeff Hardy, but I think it's going to be a triple threat match.
- Match: I hope Jeff wins, I won't be too pissed if Trips does, but I don't want Vladimir Kozlov to win, sorry. In the end, I'm mainly rooting for Jeff.

WWE Unforgiven Thoughts & Results.

WWE Championship Scramble.
WWE Champion Triple H vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Montel Vontavious Porter vs. The Brian Kendrick.

- Winner: Triple H to retain the WWE Championship.

- My thoughts: I don't care that Trips won right now, tho when I thought Hardy had it - I was so happy lol. Ah well. Maybe another time. I'm glad to see the two shaking hands afterwards.

World Heavyweight Championship Scramble.
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. Batista vs. Kane vs. JBL vs. Rey Mysterio.

- Winner: Chris Jericho when he replaced CM Punk who was attacked by Cody, Ted, & Manu & punted in the head by Randy Orton.

- My thoughts: What the heeeeellllll?! Jericho? That was so damn random. I wanted Punk to retain & continue to feud with Orton; only for Orton to eventually take it off of Punk. Why the hell did they make CM Punk lose it this way? In a match he wasn't even in? And I do like Punk & I thought he was fine as champion. Don't get me wrong, I like Jericho, too [just as not as much as Shawn haha] - but I definitely didn't see that coming. Nice swerve by the WWE; I don't think anyone saw that one coming lol.

ECW Championship Scramble.
ECW Champion Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy vs. The Miz vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Finlay.

- Winner: Matt Hardy to become the new ECW Champion.

- My thoughts: WOO-HOO! MATT WON!! :D I was almost positive Mark Henry was keeping it lol. I'm so glad that Matt won! :D

- Winner: Michelle McCool to retain the Divas Championship.

- My thoughts: I don't have much to say, honestly. I apologize. Kudos to the girls on their match though!

Unsanctioned Match.

-Winner: Shawn Michaels when the ref ended the match after Chris Jericho was unable to continue.

- My thoughts: When Shawn went through the table on Chris & Lance, I couldn't look. I saw the re-play tho. My boy finally won! He seems to have been on a losing streak lately, when he actually wrestled. I'm so happy to see him wrestle & win! I knew he was gonna take out the ref, by the way he kept stopping & looking at him. Too bad I couldn't hear his whole promo after the match. I'll have to go back & find out.

World Tag Team Championship Match.
World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Cryme Tyme.

- Winners: Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. to retain the World Tag Team Championship.

- My thoughts: UGH!!! I wanted Cryme Tyme to win! I'm not happy about this match.

Other Thoughts:

I started to think Big Show was gonna be on Vickie's side. Too bad, I liked him laughing at her & all lmfao.
I guess The Undertaker & Big Show are going to feud now.

Woo! Randy! :D It made me very happy seeing him, & I hope he'll be there tomorrow. I'm starting to think they really are going to do this stable that was rumored months ago. Either way, I'm so glad to see him making appearances! :D

I liked the PPV. I would've liked it a tad bit more if Cryme Tyme were the champs, but I still enjoyed it, more than I originally thought I would. :-)

Random Raw Thoughts.

I actually posted this on one of the wrestling forums I'm a member of. I thought I'd share it with you guys, too. It might be slightly edited, we'll see lol.

Ugh - God Raw was so good tonight. :) I loved every minute Randy was on. :D I've been waiting for this since last night. Even my Mother, who is not a fan of Randy, said Raw isn't the same without him. I know this was probably just a one time deal until he's cleared, what with it being in his hometown & all - - but I can't wait until he's back for good. :)

Randy: And do you remember how I smacked your father directly in the face?
Cody: Yeah.
Randy: *Smacks.*

Or was it him he said he smacked? I can't remember, but you get the point lol.

It's not that I don't enjoy Raw any other time, but there's just something about Randy's presence that just makes it more exciting for me. The way he causes trouble; I love it. He's my favorite heel [besides whenever HBK is a heel]. I'd rather see him in that Championship Scramble than JBL, to be honest with you.

I'd love to see him & Santino cut promos on each other - they BOTH crack me up. That would be so hysterical lol. But I think we're gonna see an Orton / Punk feud when Orton finally returns. I think that could be a good feud.

Speaking of hysterical - Kane is a trip. "I've been to hell and I didn't see your clothesline anywhere." LMFAO! I loved that lol. And it's great to see Rey Mystery Jr. & Candice Michelle back!

I loved the Shawn & Chris promo. I really hope this won't be Shawn's last match for awhile. :-/ But if he's hurt like rumored, I don't want him to make it worse on Sunday. I'm guessing he got hurt when he went out of the ring. But he didn't look phased from it to me. Doesn't mean he didn't feel it later, or work through it tho. :-/

I hope to see Cryme Tyme become the new World Tag Team Champions sometime in the near future. I find them very entertaining, & I'd love to see them with the titles!

At the conclusion of Raw tonight, after signing the contract for his Unsanctioned Match at Unforgiven this Sunday, WWE fans at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis saw Shawn Michaels favoring his left elbow, which he appeared to injure. Immediate medical examination revealed a damaged left tricep.

WWE.com expects to have more information on Michaels' injury following a more comprehensive medical examination on Tuesday.

Regardless of the severity of the injury, Shawn Michaels has vowed to meet Chris Jericho in their Unsanctioned Match this Sunday at Unforgiven. What affect will this injury have on Shawn Michaels' attempt at retribution against Chris Jericho this Sunday?

Walter "Killer" Kowalski passes away.
Written: August 30, 2008.

WWE is saddened by the passing of one of wrestling’s most successful and revered stars, WWE Hall of Famer Walter "Killer" Kowalski. He was 81.

Kowalski began his career in sports-entertainment in 1947, and wrestled extensively throughout the world for 30 years.

A devout vegetarian, Kowalski stood taller than most of his opponents in the ring. And, once the bell rang, he had a ruthless and relentless style that mentally helped him reel in victory after victory. He generally finished off his opponents with his signature Iron Claw.

Infamously known as the man who ripped off part of Yukon Eric’s ear during a 1954 match held in Montreal, his prowess within the squared-circle ensured that his opponents be at the top of their games.

Kowalski competed in WWE rings during the 1960s and ’70s, and he and WWE Hall of Famer Gorilla Monsoon garnered the United States Tag Team Championship in 1963. But, of even more renown, Kowalski was regarded as the toughest challenger to then-WWE Champion Bruno Sammartino, selling out arena after arena up and down the Eastern Seaboard.

During the early 1970s, Kowalski trained a big, strapping individual, who was then known as Chuck O’ Connor. In 1976, the teacher-student combination of Kowalski and O’Connor attired themselves in black masks and tights, calling themselves The Executioners. On May 11 of that year, the duo won the World Tag Team Championship from Tony Parisi and Louis Cerdan. O’Connor went on to be known as Big John Studd.

After finishing a stellar career in 1977, the WWE Legend opened the Killer Kowalski Institute of Professional Wrestling in Malden, Mass., a place where individuals who wanted to pursue a mat career were taught everything and then some. To his credit, the most famous graduate of Kowalski’s school went on to become one of the premier performers in WWE history, current WWE Champion Triple H.

So, it was only fitting that in 1996 when Kowalski was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Triple H himself had the honor and privilege of presenting his mentor.

Survived by his wife Theresa, Walter "Killer" Kowalski was a kind gentleman who loved life to the fullest. But inside the ring, he was all business, and certainly one tough individual you did not want to mess with.

Cena suffers herniated disk.

Three-time WWE Champion John Cena will be out of action indefinitely with a herniated disk in his neck. Requiring surgery, this injury is the result of several Batista Bombs delivered by The Animal at SummerSlam.

According to WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann, who reviewed the MRI results with Cena, the injury sustained by the Chain Gang Commander was considerably worse than originally thought with large disk herniation.

“It needs to be dealt with because I lost most of the feeling in my right arm and am having pain in my shoulder,” Cena told WWE.com. “I’m losing 20 percent of my strength per day. If I don’t do anything about it, the injury will end up rupturing and then the surgery will be more difficult. It’s not easy, because surgery never is.”

Last year, Cena missed considerable time when he tore his pectoral muscle after receiving an RKO by Randy Orton on an announce table. He later made a remarkable return to the ring months ahead of schedule at the Royal Rumble this past January.

“It’s a different injury than the pectoral tear because that was more of a muscle injury; this is concerning my bones, which has a lot less blood flow than muscle tissue. It also has to do with my neck, which is a very fragile area,” Cena described.

“Every moment I stay away from the table is another moment something bad can happen. The disk is so bulged out and inflamed that any sudden move could make it worse.”

But when it comes to the Chain Gang Commander, the pain associated with this type of injury is perhaps second only to the anguish of being forced away from sports-entertainment – his home. Still, Cena recognizes what he needs to do, even if it means stepping away from the ring for some time.

“You can either do one or two things: You can be upset or pout or you can know what to do to get better,” Cena said. “I’m already in the mode of getting the surgery as quick as I can.”

He continued, “In the last ten months, I’ve really focused on functional strength training and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. My goal is to talk to the neurosurgeon about how quickly I can get back to full-throttle training and getting back into the ring. And that’s the ultimate goal – to be strong as I can and get back into the ring as soon as possible.”

Cena is scheduled to see doctors on Tuesday morning with neurosurgeon Dr. Joseph Maroon at the University of Pittsburgh. Be sure to check back with WWE.com for updates on the condition of the Chain Gang Commander and his imminent surgery.

WWE Unforgiven Raw Match Announced.

The following Raw match was announced for Unforgiven:

CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. Batista vs. Kane vs. JBL.
Championship Scramble for the World Heavyweight Title.
The match will be 20 minutes long, & the title can change hands a number of times by pinfall or submission. The man with the World Heavyweight Title by the end of the 20 minutes will be the new World Champion.

I think that sounds cool. You won't have to worry about the match being super long, & it'll keep you on the edge of your seat. Who will be the champion by the end of the match?

I'm rooting for CM Punk & John Cena. I won't be too mad if Batista or Kane gets it. I'm not rooting for JBL whatsoever lol.

My prediction as of right now is CM Punk. I'm not complaining though. I like CM Punk, & it'd be cool to see his reign last a few months.

Raw Thoughts For 8.18.08.

Raw was alright. I miss watching HBK & RKO, but they'll be back soon I hope. This isn't the last we've seen of either.

Did anyone see Cryme Tyme steal the belts from Team Priceless? I mean that literally. They ran out to the ring, Shad distracted them, & JTG stole them. Very funny lol. I hope to see a feud between the two teams, with Cryme Tyme eventually capturing the belts. That would be great! I think they're a great team -talented & funny- & I'd love to see them with the gold sometime in the near future.

I know a lot of people don't like Mike Adamle, but I honestly haven't had any real complaints yet with him being the new Raw General Manager.

What in the world is up with Kane? I'm guessing one of two things....
1. We're going to have a Kane & Rey Mysterio Jr. feud.
2. The writers are trying to write Rey out of the storylines for some reason. I heard a few months ago he was either injured, unhappy, or both. Of course I don't know how true that was.

I'm gonna go with choice number 1 though. Why mention him in a storyline just to write him out? Just don't mention him at all? So I think he'll be back & have a storyline with Kane. That'll be interesting.

Something tells me this feud between John & Batista may not totally be over yet. They're in the same match at Unforgiven, & when John told Batista he was the better man, he added in "But that was last night". I don't really mind though.

I think that's it for my Raw thoughts right now. I hope next week will be a bit more exciting.

- Very good match. I was hoping John would win, but I'm not really bothered by his loss. I do hope when he was holding his knee he was just selling.

Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Jeff Hardy.
- I don't care that Jeff lost; I wanna know what was up w/ Shelton. What he was down there for.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston & Women’s Champion Mickie James vs. Santino Marella & Beth Phoenix (Winners Take All Tag Team Match).
- I wanted Mickie & Kofi to retain, but Santino is so freakin' hilarious lmfao.

Shawn Michaels announcement.
- I was ready to cry until Chris Jericho came out. I really hope this is a storyline like everyone thinks [I mean Shawn leaving, not Chris hitting his wife - of course that's a storyline lol]. I'm a teeny bit afraid that this will set up for something like..."Shawn's Final Match" or something. :-/

I did enjoy the matches, but I won't lie - I wish Randy Orton would've returned last night. I knew deep down he wasn't going to, but I was still hoping.

I just realized, it would've been cool to have Cryme Tyme on the card. Maybe against Team Priceless. It'd also be cool to have a feud & a match build-up, but I like watching Cryme Tyme. Even a promo. I am glad Santino had a small interview; he makes me laugh lol. And I love how Maria stared right back at Beth without backing down. You go girl lol. I've always liked Maria. :)

Anyways, it was an up & down PPV for me. Not my favorite SummerSlam, but everyone put on a good show.

Pre-SummerSlam thoughts.

Well, the big day is tomorrow. I usually enjoy the PPVs, but to say the excitement hasn't gone down for me would be a lie. Up until this past Monday, I was under the impression that Randy Orton was possibly making his return. And...well...now he's not.

But I hope to enjoy the PPV anyways. :)

Here's my thoughts & such anyways.

Edge vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match).
- I'm looking forward to this match & 'Taker's return. I don't totally care who wins since I like them both. I think I'm leaning a little bit towards 'Taker.

WWE Champion Triple H vs. The Great Khali.
- I want Triple H to win.

World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk vs. JBL.
- I want CM Punk to win. I most definitely don't wanna see JBL as our champion on Raw. Just my opinion though.

ECW Champion Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy.
- I'm rooting for Matt Hardy all the way!

John Cena vs. Batista.
- I like them both, but I'm rooting for John Cena.

- I'm a bigger fan of Jeff Hardy, so I'm rooting for him.

My Thoughts On Randy Orton's Accident.

Quite a few people out there are beginning to think it's a work. I still think it's real, but I can see why people think it's a work. The accident happened to take place days after Randy practically gave away his return. Until it's confirmed as fake, I'm believing it's real. But that's just me. I would rather believe it's real & find out it's fake, then to believe it's fake only to find out it's real. That would be more of a disappointment to me then finding out it's fake.

However, I WANT it to be fake so bad. Yes, it's a dirty trick to play on the fans. But I'd rather be fooled for a week then to know Randy is not only out for 3 more months - but was nearly killed. The thought of what could've happened had he not had his helmet on makes me sick. But for now, I'm believing it really happened. And regardless, I'm glad we still even have Randy around to discuss, get mad at [should it be fake], ect.

I would also like to know, if this is real like many still do believe - did they even catch the driver of the car who nearly killed him? Did s/he even know what they have done? Let alone going to check on a man they nearly killed?

Regardless of all of the above, as I said, I am glad Randy is alright. He is one of my favorite wrestlers, & I would hate to have something happen to him. Best wishes go out to him & his family, & I wish him a speedy & healthy recovery.

Forty-eight hours after his accident, Randy Orton is feeling considerably better. The former WWE Champion re-fractured his collar bone, but luckily he does not have a broken scapula, as originally feared. A follow-up examination confirmed that Orton will be unable to compete for an additional three months.

The Superstar was involved in a motorcycle accident near his home Sunday night that could have ended his life were he not wearing a helmet.

Orton, who has only been riding motorcycles for a month, said he was riding around a sharp curve on a steep hill home when an oncoming car veered into his lane causing him to widen his turn.

Orton then struck a curb and was thrown from his bike. He collided with the ground, knocking him unconscious. In his words, Orton "bounced and rolled just under 300 feet, landing in a ditch."

"When I came to, I knew I had rebroken my collarbone," said Orton. "When the police and fireman got there, they asked me 'Where's the guy who was in the wreck?' and I said 'It was me.' "

Orton, who was wearing just shorts and a sweatshirt, only sustained the rebroken collarbone.

"Without a helmet, I would be dead," said Orton. "Now that I have a newborn daughter, so much was going through my head."

Orton had one final message for his fans ... "I will ride again."

I won't be on here for a few days. So if there is any news, results or whatnot, I don't think I'll be able to post it.

I will be gone from Wed. [8/6/08] until Sunday night [8/10/08] or Monday [8/11/08]. I may not be online as much. I'm sure I'll get the chance to jump online off & on, but I'm not sure I will be able to update.

I'm going to a Raw house show in August, in Sailsbury, MD. 3rd row! How awesome is that? I've never been that close! :-)

The only downfall is this - HBK doesn't work all house shows; Randy's injured. There's John & Jeff, but who knows it they'll get drafted. There are others I like, I was just thinking about my top favorites. Hopefully they'll be there though. I won't know for sure until June 23rd, well - John & Jeff anyways.

Oh yes, WWE will have their annual draft on 6.23.08. Watch me jump for joy. :-x LOL.

I know, you're probably Randy Orton-ed out by now; especially if you know me personally. But I had more to say, so bear with me please, lol.

I posted this in my other wrestling blog, Wrestling Stuff [check it out - please & thank you]. But I felt it should be over in here as well. So here we go.....

I totally understand if you're not, & that's cool. Just as long as it's respected that I'm a fan. Thanks!

Anywho, most people who know me wouldn't believe that I used to not be able to stand him. Gimmick wise of course. This was mostly his Evolution run. He annoyed me; got under my skin. In short, made me wanna slap the taste right out of his mouth.

He did his job as a heel, & he did it well, might I add.

I started leaning towards becoming a fan in July of 2004. For some reason, I was in denial & continued to boo the man. But I knew I was starting to like him. Something about his arrogant ways was drawing me in. Not to mention his talent of course. He has improved [in MY opinion], & it was cool. By Aug. 2004, I was a fan. And I've been a fan ever since.

I love him as a heel. Infact, with the exception of HBK as a heel [who is a riot, might I add], Randy is probably my favorite heel ever. He plays the role so well; so naturally. Maybe it's him - volume turned up [as I've read]. Maybe it's the fact that he just does his role well. Or maybe it's all of the above, if that makes sense. Regardless - he does it so well. He's evil, shows no remorse, & gets right under your skin. As I said, he does his job. :-)

I've been very supportive since jumping on the bandwagon. He's had his problems, & as a fan, I've forgiven them. I don't try to make excuses for him, because we all screw up. I don't try to say "Nope, he's perfect!"; nobody is perfect. I just accept the fact that he's had his fair share of problems & continue to support him. Of course I'm not saying anyone who does make excuses isn't a real fan, before anyone thinks that. Regardless you still support him, & that's good.

To me, Randy is so talented & full of potential. He's great in the ring; the RKO is one of my favorite finishers & I love his dropkicks. His promos are great; he tells it like it is & never fails to make me laugh. He can be arrogant one minute & just down right evil the next - & I love it.

I was hoping he'd have a longer title reign than 7 months. I was there in person at WWE Backlash. While I was very upset that he lost, I was still happy to see him live & in person. It was awesome. :-) I hope he gets the WWE Title back sometime down the road, & holds it for a longer period of time. I'm not saying he needs to hold it for years, but still - longer than 7 months would be cool. As I said, he's talented & has so much potential. His attitude has improved [for the most part; from what others say anyway] & he has come so far. I want to see Randy go further & succeed. In my eyes, he deserves it.

Randy Orton For WWE Champion.

Alrighty, it's time to post more thoughts & less news.

Before I continue, let me just state that I am clearly just expressing my own opinion. You don't have to agree with me. All I ask is that you respect it.

Now, down to business....

I'm am none to pleased with the outcome of the Fatal Four Way Elimination match at WWE Backlash. I have my favorites & such, but I was pulling for Randy Orton to win. I think I knew deep down there was a chance he wouldn't, but I was hoping to be wrong.

Now, I don't want anyone to think that I don't like HHH. I do. I'm just not a big fan of him as champion. I'm sorry to admit that, but it's true. But for the most part, I think I'm still thinking back to his Evolution title reigns, and I'm hoping history won't repeat itself. I just didn't enjoy those title runs. To me, he seemed to take up the most air time, he always had the last laugh, & always dominated. Yes, I know people say the same thing about John Cena [this is not your cue to bash him, thanks], but I think it was worse when HHH had it around that time period. I do hope HHH will prove me wrong on thinking history could very well repeat itself.

I'm also hoping not to see Randy lose week after week. Whether it's losing matches or just getting his ass beat. I'm sorry, but as a huge Randy fan, that will get old real quick. I'm also hoping that he stays in the main event status, and doesn't get pushed down to mid-card anytime soon.

Plus, -& I'm not the only person to say this- they pushed the Age of Orton after Wrestlemania 24, but then a month later it ended just like that. Like other fans, I would have loved to have seen how far they could have & would have took the Age of Orton.

Now, before you think I'm just some bitter little fan, I take nothing away from HHH's talent. He's an awesome wrestler &, as I stated earlier, for the most part I'm HHH. But I'm very supportive of Randy having a longer WWE title reign.

I know it will be HHH vs. RKO in a Steel Cage Match at Judgment Day. I'm not expecting RKO to win, but I'm still rooting for him. And I'm definitely hoping that Randy gets the WWE Title back sometime within the next year.

I know sometimes he gets himself into trouble, but for the most part [aside from the latest hotel incident], there hasn't been much reported [& I hope it stays that way]. Randy is so talented & has so much potential, & in my opinion, he deserves to be the WWE Champion right now.

- My thoughts: I'm so happy! I'm a huge Matt fan, & I'm glad he's the new U.S. Title!

- My thoughts: Not to take anything away from anyone, but I'm not too pleased with the outcome. I was rooting for Randy the entire time. Hopefully this is not the last we've seen of The Age of Orton. I hope he gets the belt back soon.

- Winner: Kane.
- My thoughts: I'm glad he won.

Batista vs. Shawn Michaels [with Chris Jericho as the special guest referee].

- My thoughts: I'm glad Shawn won, but I'm worried about his knee.

12-Diva Tag Team Match.
- Winner: Beth's team.
- My thoughts: I was rooting for the other team lol.

Aside from a few match result let downs, it was a good PPV. I had a good time for the most part. I had some tall people in front of me & security is more strict at a PPV. :-/ I definitely need seats in row 1-5 next time lol. But I had fun there. I watched a bunch of wrestlers arrive & leave. I met Sgt. Slaughter, Mick Foley, & The Big Show. And I got the new RKO Oblivion shirt. Hopefully the WWE [preferably Raw] comes back to Baltimore, MD again soon. :-)

For the first time ever in the Land of the Extreme, ECW Champion Kane and World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker will reunite as the Brothers of Destruction get set to take on WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison.

Unfortunately, their match will not be the only thing on their minds, as still bitter about losing their respective titles, Chavo Guerrero and Edge are determined to exact revenge and return to championship status. They have combined their efforts and enlisted the help of Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder and recently, the best bodyguard money can buy - Bam Neely - to the mix.

Will the brothers of gold be a destructive force on ECW? Or will the Ultimate Opportunist and the Mexican Warrior take this chance and use the strength in numbers to get the upper hand on the champions?

Aaaah my head has been hurting off & on since yesterday evening. That's not always fun. And I still went to class today. I'm a trooper. ;-)

I'm a little disappointed the John Cena wasn't on Raw last night, but it was still a great show. Even if I did come in late & miss the beginning of HBK promo. :-/ I'll find it though lol.

It's so great to have Cryme Tyme back. :D

I'm glad Randy won. I'm also glad he's alright from landing on his neck. I figured he was fine, but when he landed, I thought "Owwwwe".

Mickie James is the new Woman's Champion. Awesome! :D

Chris Jericho refereeing the match between HBK & Batista at Backlash? Hell yeah, I was hoping he'd be on the card in some way, shape, or form. I hope Shawn wins - but I'm still looking forward to seeing everyone in person. :D :D

After losing their respective titles at WrestleMania XXIV, Edge and Chavo Guerrero didn’t take long to enlist the help of other “family” members to attempt some measure of revenge. To set the stage, General Manager Vickie Guerrero forced Undertaker and Kane to face each other in a “Brother vs. Brother, Champion vs. Champion Match” last week on SmackDown. As the match wore on, it was the perfect opportunity for Edge, Chavo, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder to launch a surprise attack on the brothers. But, the tables were soon turned, and Edge & Chavo were left knocked out cold. Further adding to the plan to return the titles to the "family," the GM wielded her power by announcing huge title rematches between Edge and Undertaker, as well as Chavo and Kane at Backlash on April 27.

But before Backlash -- as announced in a WWE Mobile on AT&T exclusive video – the GM has ordered Undertaker to face Festus this Friday on SmackDown. When the bell rings and the corn-fed colossus “transforms,” how will The Phenom react to this very unconventional Superstar who has never been pinned on SmackDown?

Last week on SmackDown, Shawn Michaels tried to explain what it feels like to have ended the career of Ric Flair at WrestleMania XXIV. But while struggling to express his mixed emotions, HBK was confronted in the ring by Batista, who claimed HBK’s actions were both selfish and wrong. Things got even hotter on Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel on Raw. This Friday on SmackDown, the two Backlash opponents will have a face-to-face meeting. What’s next in the rivalry that’s been brewing between these two Superstars?

Also last week, SmackDown goliaths Big Show and The Great Khali faced off in a stare-down. But, Khali decided to save the confrontation for another day and walked away. Chavo Guerrero lost the ECW Championship in only eight seconds to Kane at WrestleMania XXIV, and sought revenge on Tuesday’s ECW, but came up short once again. ECW Champ Kane and Mr. Money in the Bank, CM Punk, defeated the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior,” who teamed up with Shelton Benjamin. Now, Guerrero is determined to win back ECW gold. How is Guerrero planning to win back the ECW Championship from the dominant Kane? And now that Punk is Mr. Money in the Bank, will he be another obstacle in Guerrero’s way?

Also on ECW, Stevie Richards faced his in and out of the ring rival, Mike Knox, for the first time in one-on-one action. Richards fell short to Knox, whose sights have been set on decimating the ECW Original for the last few weeks. What does Knox want from Richards, and how will the ECW Original show Knox he won’t waver again?

Finally, Colin Delaney is still hoping for a contract from ECW General Manager Armando Estrada. But thanks to an April Fools’ Day trick, Delaney was given a gigantic obstacle to face this week on ECW: Big Show. Young Delaney didn’t have a chance against The World’s Largest Athlete, and once again fell short of earning a contract from Estrada. When – or will – Delaney finally get a WWE contract? Randy Orton has reigned as WWE Champion since October 2007. Nonetheless, his victory in the Triple Threat Match at WrestleMania XXIV over John Cena and Triple H was nothing if not surprising.

Pundits had dismissed his chances of emerging victorious as less than 1-in-5. Yet there he was on Raw last Monday night holding the title aloft for all to see. While there’s little doubt that both Cena and The Game have designs to recapture the gold from the Legend Killer, Orton also seems to have picked up another two more possible contenders for the throne: JBL and a resurgent Matt Hardy.

JBL confronted the reigning WWE Champion and, in typical Layfield fashion, made no bones about his intentions to gun for the title. For his part, Hardy returned to Raw last Monday seeking revenge for a punt to the head that Orton delivered to him shortly after his appendix surgery. In a match between Orton and Hardy, the Legend Killer came out on top that night, but it’s unlikely that anyone has heard the last of Hardy.

Can Orton really fend off every Superstar he has gunning for him? Is the “Age of Orton” on borrowed time?

And how exactly will Shawn Michaels respond after the roller coaster ride of emotion he’s been on recently? First, he ends the career of his dear friend, Ric Flair, at WrestleMania, then, the following night, Flair forgives him for sending him into retirement.

Exactly how spent is The Showstopper, and how much will it affect him in the ring?

In other Raw action, Santino Marella just can’t seem to let go of his ex-girlfriend, Maria. The Italian Stallion felt the need last Monday night to challenge Maria to an Anything Goes Match, thinking he could exact some measure of revenge for their split. Unfortunately for Marella, the Playboy cover girl was fueled by anger, and with the rest of WWE’s gorgeous Divas fueled by Santino’s big mouth, it was the Italian export who found himself on the losing end of a bunny beat down.

After suffering the ultimate humiliation at the manicured hands of Maria and the Divas, have we heard the last of the jealous ex, or will the Italian Stallion be back for more?

MIAMI – Saying goodbye to wrestling legend Ric Flair has not been easy for our fans and WWE Superstars alike. On Friday Night SmackDown, Shawn Michaels tried to explain what it feels like to have ended the career of his boyhood idol, "Naitch," at WrestleMania XXIV. But while struggling to express his mixed emotions, HBK was confronted in the ring by Batista, who claimed HBK’s actions on The Grandest Stage of Them All were both selfish and wrong.

Return of fate
Matt Hardy shocked everyone at WrestleMania XXIV by emerging from the crowd to go after United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter during the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The returning Superstar quickly put an end to MVP’s chances for the coveted championship contract with a wicked Twist of Fate. On Friday Night SmackDown, the two clashed in a vicious and malicious battle, featuring kicks, punches and headbutts. Once again, though, it was the Twist of Fate that did in MVP, as Hardy used the devastating maneuver to claim victory in their non-title match.

One cool ride
In the SmackDown Diva Competition, Michelle McCool defeated fellow finalist Cherry to win the slick, new custom Beverly Hills Chopper. On hand to present McCool with her new ride were Beverly Hills Chopper owner, Johnny Fratto and son, Johnny, Jr. But the first few moments of McCool’s reign as top Diva quickly brought out the critics. First, it was Victoria who came into the arena to brawl with McCool. Then out of nowhere, a mysterious blonde Diva viciously attacked McCool. Despite Cherry’s efforts the help McCool, the blonde brutally slammed McCool into the ring post.

Gigantic showdown
In tag action, a swinging neck breaker from WWE Tag Team Champion John Morrison to Shannon Moore allowed the Shaman of Sexy & The Miz to get the win over Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang. But, before the opponents could clear the ring, The Great Khali came in to clear house. First it was The Miz & Morrison who felt the 7-footer’s wrath. Next, Khali pressed Yang high overhead and tossed him to the arena floor before finishing up his path of destruction by chokeslamming Moore. But, before the dust could clear, Big Show came into the arena to confront Khali. “Monday night you got in my face (on Raw), tonight I’m in yours,” Show bellowed. It looked like the two titans would clash, but Khali once again chose to save it for another day, leaving the ring.

Biscuits & beatings
Since debuting on SmackDown last fall, Festus has been manhandling opponents and taking care of business. In the 24-man Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXIV, he was a force to be reckoned with. In perhaps his strongest showing yet, the corn-fed colossus absolutely destroyed Zack Ryder on SmackDown. Using brute force, Festus tossed the Rated-R entourage member around the ring and got the easy pinfall.

From Russia…with love?
Russian bruiser Vladimir Kozlov burst onto the SmackDown scene by crushing Matt Bentley in a dominating show of force. From the start, Kozlov launched a vicious offense that Bentley could not counter, resulting in a commanding win.

Brothers of Destruction
Things didn’t go very well at WrestleMania XXIV for Chavo Guerrero and Edge, who both left Orlando as ex-champions. Edge lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Undertaker, while Chavo lost the ECW Championship to Undertaker’s brother, Kane. “I have never been so ticked off in my life,” the Rated-R Superstar said at the opening of SmackDown about losing his title. Chavo was equally disappointed in his ‘Mania showing.

But, it didn’t take long for SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero to step in and lay down plans try to bring the titles back to “the family.” On SmackDown, the GM announced the blockbuster card for Backlash on pay-per-view on April 27. Chavo will face Kane in an ECW Championship rematch, and Edge will challenge The Phenom to try to regain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Continuing down her vindictive path, the GM ordered Kane and Undertaker to face each other that night on SmackDown. If either brother declined to face the other, he would be stripped of his respective championship. With such high stakes, the match went on as ordered. However, before a victor could be decided, Edge, Chavo, Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder stepped in to attack the brothers. In the end, though, the Brothers of Destruction lived up to their name as they turned the tables on Chavo and Edge with chokeslams, capped off with double Tombstone Piledrivers. Ouch!

I also apologize for not always posting things about the other promotions. I mainly watch WWE; I grew up with it. I can't watch wrestling every night due to other people in the house wanting to watch their shows; so I chose WWE. I also can't always make it to other events other than WWE.

When Undertaker defeated Edge at WrestleMania XXIV, he not only won the World Heavyweight Championship, he also lengthened his already-incredible WrestleMania winning streak to 16-0. But The Deadman won’t rest now that he has the Championship, because the man he won it from is none other than the Ultimate Opportunist, Edge, who gave Undertaker more than his fair share of trouble in their title bout. If The Phenom wants to keep the former champion at bay, he will have to keep close watch on the entire Rated-R entourage, including cohorts Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, and fiancée, SmackDown General Manger Vickie Guerrero. Will the Rated-R Superstar have anything to say about his downfall this week on SmackDown?

After losing a Career Threatening Match to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XXIV, 2008 Hall of Famer Ric Flair made an appearance on Raw for a Farewell Address, where family and Superstars of past and present paid tribute to the “Nature Boy.” WWE.com has learned that HBK will visit Friday Night SmackDown to offer his thoughts on what went down in Orlando, Fla. What kind of reaction will the man who ended Flair's career get from our fans and his fellow Superstars?

At WrestleMania XXIV, our fans witnessed a surprise return from Matt Hardy, who ruined United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter’s hopes in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Matt Hardy hasn’t seen ring time for months after undergoing an emergency appendectomy, but had no problem taking out his rival with a Twist of Fate. But will it be long before Regal comes knocking with an even more devastating opponent?

WrestleMania Ramifications

At WrestleMania XXIV, Randy Orton shocked the world by pinning John Cena and retaining his coveted WWE Championship at the Citrus Bowl. Now that Orton has proven his dominance against not one, but two of Raw’s most powerful and skilled Superstars, who could possibly step forth to oppose him? And how will Triple H and Cena react after having been foiled in their attempts to recapture the WWE Championship? We'll find out as Raw rolls across town to Orlando's Amway Arena.

Unfortunately, Orton’s win wasn’t the only disappointment for WWE fans last night. After a legendary 36-year career, the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair was defeated by Shawn Michaels, and given a standing ovation by the 74,365 at the Citrus Bowl. How will The Showstopper deal with the emotions involved in ending the career of his friend and 16-time World Champion? And while Flair is forbidden to compete in the ring again, will this be the last we see of the Dirtiest Player in the Game?

Fans got to witness two experienced brawlers do what they do best on Sunday when JBL narrowly defeated Finlay in a Belfast Brawl. Though Finlay almost defeated the self-proclaimed "Wrestling God," even an assist from his recently recovered son wasn’t enough to put a stop to the rampaging self-made millionaire. With this win behind him, will JBL continue to run roughshod over the Raw roster? Or will the newly reunited team of Finlay and Hornswoggle rebound to take him down?

And with Beth Phoenix & Melina topping Maria & Ashley in their BunnyMania Lumberjack Match at WrestleMania, who will rise up from the Divas division to challenge the powerful Glamazon and make a move on her cherished title?

- Randy Orton [WWE Champion] vs. John Cena vs. Triple H.
Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship.

Winner: Randy Orton to retain the WWE Championship.

- Edge [WWE Heavyweight Champion] vs. The Undertaker.
WWE Heavyweight Championship Match.

Winner: The Undertaker to become the new WWE Heavyweight Champion & keep his streak, which is now 16-0.

- Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels.
Career Threatening Match. If Ric Flair loses, he must retire.

Winner: Shawn Michaels. He seemed to hesitate before delivering the Sweet Chin Music, & before delivering it, he said to Ric, "I'm sorry. I love you".

Thank you for the memories, Ric. You'll be missed, & I hope to see you again on wrestling sometime down the road.

All in all, winners & losers aside - I really thought everyone did amazing tonight, & I'm very pleased with all the matches. Everyone seriously worked their asses off in my opinion, & I'm glad I enjoyed it. I wasn't as excited for it as usual, so this was a turnaround for me.

Wrestlemania 24 Is Here! :D

It's that day. The day our favorites perform on the grandest stage of 'em all, Wrestlemania 24! Gotta love it. :D

Well, I watched the Hall of Fame 2008 on the USA Network...

And I enjoyed it, & I hope you all did, too. It was great seeing The Rock again, he cracks me up. I liked John's speech for the legends. And Ric Flair's speech was awesome. If he retires tomorrow, then all I can say is thank you.

Actually - I say thank you to any of 'em, whether I'm familiar with them or not. They paved the way for a lot of the talent we watch today.

I just wish they'd start playing the entire thing on TV. I guess that depends on buying the time or whatnot though.

Oh, & between The Rock, his Mother, Ric Flair, & his family [& friends / peers], it was an emotional night. The Hall of Fame usually is, from what I've seen. But it's understandable of course.

Anywho, I found an article on the Hall of Fame on WWE.com. I'm sure there will be a few, but this is the one I choose to post.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 2008 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony has come and gone, and eight new members are now a part of the most exclusive club in sports-entertainment.

It was a mob scene earlier today both inside and outside the Amway Arena, as a virtual encyclopedia of past, present and possibly future WWE Superstars met and greeted each other. Hours before the ceremony was set to begin, thousands of fans were lined up on the streets of downtown Orlando to catch a glimpse of their favorite Superstars, Divas and Legends. Even celebrities came out for the ceremony, as actors Freddie Prinze Jr. and Macaulay Culkin were spotted in the Amway Arena tonight.

Understandably, it was a nervous last few hours for all the inductees, as the minutes ticked away until they were officially Hall of Famers – hours and minutes, as 2004 inductee Greg “The Hammer” Valentine explained, that you can’t really fathom until they’re over.

“I was excited, a little bit nervous, apprehensive … but this is a real gala event,” Valentine explained, “and you don’t know how big it is until you’re in. It’s a big deal to be honored for all the years you spend in the ring, and I’m happy to see my former partner Ric Flair join me in the Hall of Fame tonight.”

As tense as the ceremony may be for the inductees, those who induct them into the Hall may have a harder task. After all, how do you introduce someone who truly needs no introduction? Still, according to JBL – who inducted the Brisco Brothers – it’s truly a chance to give back to those who led the way.

“Gerald Brisco has been a dear friend of mine for years; he hired me 13 years ago in a shower in Bethlehem, Pa.,” the Raw Superstar said. “Honestly, this is the greatest honor I’ve ever been given. To be able to induct the Briscos … they have to be the greatest tag team in the history of professional wrestling.”

Potentially a future Hall of Famer himself, JBL says the Hall of Fame Ceremony is one of a kind.

“I’ve been to all the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies; you learn the legacy of this business and you know how important WrestleMania is,” he said. “You learn how cool it is to look back at your career and if you’re competing at WrestleMania, you see that your career is still being made. You see the history and how important it is; the Hall of Fame puts it all in perspective.”

That perspective: Emotion.

“This is probably one of the most emotional nights of my career,” Gerald Brisco explained. “It was very difficult to get out there and not just break down. I have a passion for this business and I love the fans. And to be out there with my brother, this was just as good as it comes.”

He continued, “My take on JBL’s presentation of the Brisco Brothers is that he’s got one more stretch job coming.”

“It’s like a dream come true,” added touched Hall of Fame inductee Jack Brisco. “I’m just really, really excited. To be going into the Hall of Fame with my brother, Gerry, made this a really special night. Also, to go in with such great people as Eddie Graham, Ric Flair and one of my all-time favorite announcers, Gordon Solie.”

It’s also a special night for many Superstars, who watch those they may have worked closely with or learned from receive the highest honor in the industry.

“Mae Young and I go way back, and she rightly deserves this,” Mark Henry proclaimed. “She’s done more for ladies in sports-entertainment than just about everyone but the few who have preceded her into the Hall. And man, she was a tough lady. Remember when she got powerbombed through a table? When she came to, she said, ‘That’s all they’ve got?’ A lot of guys would have been laid up for weeks; not Mae.”

Mickie James is one of those who currently travels the road paved by Mae and her contemporaries.

“I think it’s awesome that Mae is being honored,” the former Women’s Champion said with a smile. “She’s given a lot to this business, and it was especially tough for her being a woman surrounded by men. It’s just that much more rewarding.”

Also among the inductees tonight were former Championship Wrestling from Florida promoter Eddie Graham and announcer Gordon Solie – two men that are very familiar to former multiple-time World Tag Team Champion Mike Rotunda.

“I was very fortunate to be a part of CWF, it was an honor to work there,” Rotunda told WWE.com. “Some of the greatest Superstars came through there, and Gordon brought it all together on television for the fans. Seeing them inducted tonight brought back a lot of memories from those golden years.”

Elijah Burke grew up in Jacksonville, Fla., watching CWF on television every week. And much like with Dusty Rhodes in 2007, Burke got a little emotional watching some of his Florida favorites enter the pantheon of the elite.

“Ric Flair is right behind Dusty Rhodes as one of the biggest influences as to why I got into sports-entertainment,” Elijah said in a moment of candor. “Because of Ric and the Dream, that’s why I’m here. If you read my blog, the Elijah Experience, on ECW.com, you’ll know that it was a huge honor for me to have a match with Ric Flair on ECW on Sci Fi. And Solie … that golden voice was great, and I still to this day refer to it as a vertical ‘su-play.’ I grew up on Gordon Solie, on Ric Flair, on Eddie Graham’s product; to be here to see them become Hall of Famers is an honor and a blessing.”

And for Solie’s family, it was one final fitting cap for the legacy of “The Dean.”

“To hear the likes of Jim Ross and Dusty Rhodes call my father the best … it’s humbling,” said son Jonard Solie. “It’s a great honor for Gordon to be in the Hall of Fame. He made people want to come to the matches; I just wish he could have been here for this.”

Our fans, of course, were just as excited, and just about all of them that WWE.com spoke with agreed on the highlights of the night.

“Ric Flair!” screamed Chad Lauderbaugh of Charlotte, N.C. “He’s the greatest wrestler of all-time. He is a16-time World Champion – who’s ever going to top that?”

“Finally, THE ROCK has come back!” added Anuj Shah, who traveled all the way from New York City to attend WrestleMania. “He’s still the People’s Champion, and his father and grandfather should be in the Hall of Fame just for being related to The Great One!”

It was that kind of night here at the Amway Arena, as the WWE Hall of Fame welcomed Flair, Rocky Johnson & Peter Maivia, Mae Young, The Briscos, Eddie Graham & Gordon Solie into its hallowed halls.

And now that the Hall of Fame Ceremony is over, it’s almost time for the biggest event in sports-entertainment. Superstars will shine, and several future Hall of Famers – and a few current ones, too, like Flair, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler – will perform for more than 70,000 screaming WWE fans in the Citrus Bowl. Most importantly of all, however: History will once again be made – history that may someday be recalled at a future Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

WWE Hall of Fame - Class of 2008.

Well, tonight is the Hall of Fame - Class of 2008. I might not be as familiar with some of those going in as others would be, but it's always great to see the Legends get honored. Afterall, they're the ones who paved the way for the talent we have today.

I think one of my favorite speeches from the Hall of Fame would be Dusty Rhodes' speech last year.
